ECO-FRIENDLY TIPS:
Our main mission here at sketchy artisan is to promote curiosity and creativity in all forms but one of our priorities is to do it with as little negative environmental impact as possible. We hope to live in cooperation with the earth instead of abusing it. So currently we limit our packaging materials as well as the plastic we use and hope to someday have the resources to use more eco-friendly papers and art sleeves as well. But for now, as a small business, we can only do/afford so much. Therefore, in an effort to partner will you lovely people, we've put together a few tips and ideas on how you can repurpose/recycle the extra materials used to get your art prints safely to you! We will also be trying some of these ideas out ourselves and posting the results here and on our Pinterest!
If you can think of any other repurposing ideas feel free to see those through instead! We encourage all creativity, especially when it's in an effort to protect our lovely planet! If you have any cool ideas of your own then please share them with us on social media! After getting your print, tag us with a picture of your idea and we’ll share it with our other lovely customers!

use it to collect paper weight items while traveling like foreign currency or pretty flowers to flatten
-
tape/glue it to one of your journals and use it as a pocket
-
You can use the cardboard or rigid mailer to create...
-
cute handmade postcards
-
a unique canvas for your paintings or drawings
-
an alternative form of weed prevention if you garden
-
a cheap paint palette
-
a handmade journal or notepad
-
cards & envelopes for your friends & family
-
cheap drawer dividers
-
cute pockets for your journal/planner
-
Along with these you can also go thrifting for a vintage picture frame for your print if you don't feel comfortable shopping on Amazon for a frame! We encourage and support all the ways you chose to lessen your (and our) ecological footprint!

I share all my illustrations on my Pinterest as well as pins that I use for inspiration for anybody curious about how certain illustrations come to be. Most of my art is inspired by little moments in my every day life and those of my friends and family but I like to see visuals that line up with the type of art I want to create. Feel free to check it out!
